Divine Mercy (continue)

There was a constant sprinkle of rain throughout out the whole day! Very cold and wet. It was a great day... the amounts of people at times was difficult to deal with. It was just too many people in such tight spaces.

Great day overall! St. Faustina - pray for us!

camera battery

Smarty pants here forgot to bring the camera battery...it's sitting in my room (in miami) charging. I'm going to go out and see if i can find a store tomorrow that sells camera batteries.

SO... the pics that you will enjoy tonight are from my iphone.

Divine Mercy Sunday- Krakow

"On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity." (Diary of Saint Faustina, 699)

I'll post pictures from todays outing when I get back to the hotel... happy Divine Mercy Sunday!

airport sign

At the airport I saw a sign with JPII on it advertising a new currency with his picture on it...very cool. They told me that i have to go to the bank on Monday to buy one.

Arrival in Poland

This place sure is far! It took three planes and 15 hours later for us to arrive in Krakow.

Its cold and rainy! Yuck. just as I thought that winter was behind me.

We arrived in Warsaw, Poland only to hear of the unfortunate and sad news of their President and many ministers dying in a plane crash. It was a bit unnerving because we really could not get the facts of what happened. Indeed, a very sad day in this country's history...not to mention all they endured during WWII.
